Riscossa Today
Since 1932 to 1952
Everything began in 1902 when Cav. Leonardo Mastromauro choosed the name Riscossa for his project because of his nature so impetuous and innovative. This name was very innovative In that period after the War because everybody was searching for his "Riscossa" (that means "renaissance"). To Cav. Leonardo Mastromauro a new life was possible then and everything needed to start with "Riscossa", his great pasta project!!
In this way the first "Pastificio" was born in Piazza Cannizzaro, 7 in Corato under the name of "Pastificio di Leonardo Mastromauro and sons".
In 1950 the production was increased from 3 tons to 10 tons per day and the Pastificio that became "Pastificio Riscossa dei F.lli Mastromauro" was transferred from Piazza Cannizzaro TO Via Paisiello, 74 in Corato
The Fabulous 50's until the 80's
In 1955 the production was increased more from 10 tons to 30tons per day.
In 1971 the production was 50tons per day. The Pastificio was enriched with some new solid lines of production at low temperatures, manually adjustable and with dryng time longer or shorter. At that time the packing consisted of polypropylene packs that were putted into the cartons manually. The 2 brothers Mastromauro (they were 4 at the beginning), Nunzio and Giuseppe, created the new Company asset that is the actual one. This was the second generation of the Mastromauro's family involved in the pasta business.
Riscossa Today
Pastificio Riscossa sells his products to the global market since more than 100 years ago.
Thanks to his love for the pasta e for the healty life Pastificio Riscossa made his dreams come a successful reality very well knowed all over the world.
Since 1902 Riscossa brings on the tables of all his customers the best flavour of the Italian poasta by maintaining the his tradition in the production and by improving it with the most modern available technologies.
Riscossa produces pasta since more than 100 years with the same passion of ever. This is a very are goal that only few companies in Italy and all over the world are able to obtain.
