Riscossa Today
Riscossa today: the consolidation of a big group and of an ancient tradition
The third generation leaded by the current president of the Pasta factory Riscossa Dott. Leonardo Mastromauro, made the production grow on a quality point of view. The pasta factory Riscossa was displaced to the industrial area, on a surface of 18.000 square metres while its production grew to 2.500 quintals a day
The productive lines were continuous lines. The regulation of the productive process was executed by adequate tools and according to prefixed parameters and diagrams. The drying process was executed through continuous high tempered systems. The production and drying times were largely reduced and the processing had place with three tournaments.
Storage bins for end products were introduced, a lung that allowed to the dried product to be cooled before being packed. Fast and complex machines correctly carried out the packaging into polypropylene and the wrapping into cartons ready to be put in columns and preserved in stores.
In 1998 a mill system was bought in Venosa (Pz) in Basilicata to ensure the requirements for high quality semolina of Corato factory.
2002: The centenary
The centenary of the activity is celebrated and the fourth generation leads the pasta factory Riscossa in the challenge of the global market and of the hyper competition.
New structures are built to enlarge the space for production of the pasta factory and three new advanced technology production lines are installed. They are completely run by telematics and have allowed doubling the output volume growing from 2.500 quintals to 5.000 a day.
In the factory an intense reorganizing phase starts. The purpose is to answer to the challenge of the new millennium.
